PES students who attend the Emerge Summer Leadership Institute will be assigned a Success Coach and will be expected to meet both coaching and other PES program requirements. Instead of the general PES expectations, these students will complete the activities listed below to remain in good standing and receive the $1,000 PES scholarship in their first and final year at the University.
Before Classes Start
- Attend Freshman Orientation
- Attend Welcome Week
Your First Year
- Meet with your Success Coach 2 times per semester (Emerge Summer Leadership Institute participants only)
- Meet with your Peer Mentor 2 times per semester
- Meet with your Academic Advisor at least once per semester
- Register for 13 credits per semester
- Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
Year Two and Beyond
- Meet with your Success Coach as needed
- Meet with your Peer Mentor 2 times per semester
- Meet with your Academic Advisor at least once per semester
- Register for 13 credits per semester
- Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
